Room Life at LU

A new chapter in my life has unfolded and I wanted to take the time to update you on all the excitement :)

First and foremost I have to start with the most crucial part... The room mates!
I live in an apartment style dorm. I have two roommates and 6 "quad mates." I am only going to tell you about my room mates :)
First there is Faith:

She is from New-Mexico and  is a free spirit. She decided to scare me before we moved in at LU, making me believe she was a morbid lover. Ya, she got me... and I still don't think the joke was all that hilarious. ANYWAYS, she has ended up being a joy to be around. She loves to eat Sun Chips in the middle of the night... In case you didn't know, sun chips now come in ECO FRIENDLY bags, who ever thought that was a good idea is a MORON, those bags are the loudest things ever!   She loves the Lord and proves it with the way she lives out his word daily.

and then there is the INFAMOUS Julie Park... the asian:
Whom we all love, but sometime cannot understand... Literally.

Julie is from Northern Virginia. Her family is from Korea. She loves her computer...I thought she would be smart, hince the whole asian thing but her computer is a sony... who owns a sony computer at Liberty University, Mac is the only way. She is a sweet girl who loves sappy love movies. We don't know what she does all day because she is never in the room except 5 min before curfew. She is a professional on the Ukele and I am currently trying my hardest to play the famous IZ song.

I love it here at LU. I will update you on the other aspects of my new life here... I just don't have the time now :) This is a new time in my life and can be stressful at times, but I take comfort in knowing that this is God wants me to be. He is everywhere here and there is a since of excitement in every student.
Thank you to all the people that keep checking on me, it means more than you could ever imagine!

‎"Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up: do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland... the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise."

I'm excited to start back up in the blogging world!
Life has been pretty crazy lately, Im transferring schools (not sure where yet) so I am getting all that craziness situated. Exams are starting up, so those are always exciting. Life has thrown some exciting new things in my life lately and it sure knows how to stress me out!

I have been praying for God's direction with my life, I have a hard time with patience and quietly waiting on God's answers especially during this time. I love seeing how God has brought my family over these past 2 1/2 years. The Journey has been tough but looking back its amazing seeing his hand moving and placing us in just the right places, once again in quiet ways. You live your life today and you don't realize how God helps you with the little things until later when the puzzle is beginning to create a picture.

This summer I have the opportunity to help out with FBCA student ministry, mostly ministering and mentoring some middle school girls. I am super excited! I also will still be nannying Jackson and Emi Franklin, I couldn't ask for a better job! This summer is going to be very busy but full of awesome opportunities for spiritual growth. I want God to use me this summer to make a difference in some sweet girls lives.
I take comfort in knowing God's making the plans, so I don't have too :)
